Our team is currently looking for telehealth Mental Health Counseling Interns. This opportunity entails working in a diverse environment with numerous interns and MHC-Limited Permits. Our team is led by two supervisors, an LMHC and an LCSW-R. We are specifically interested in individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and are interested in working with a growing population of clients struggling with gender identity and sexuality. Bilingualism is preferred but not required.

We are looking for Mental Health Counseling interns to begin Summer 2023 for their practicum and internship and open to staying on until graduation.

Serenity Zone Therapy is seeking a New York State Licensed  Mental Health Counselor (minimum 2 years supervisory experience) to provide supervision to MHC Interns and LP’s. 

 This is a part-time virtual position with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will be those who are committed to providing excellent clinical supervision and are also aligned with the company’s vision of creating new, innovative ways to expand the company and extend our reach to many more individuals in need of mental health services. We are looking for a dedicated clinician whom would like to join an organization and have the opportunity to contribute to its growth and development.

Serenity Zone Therapy is an established virtual group practice, started on Long Island, NY. We provide psychotherapy to a diverse clinical population. Our clinicians specialize in the treatment of a variety of mental disorders ( but not limited to) depression, anxiety, relationship stressors, phobias, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, ADHD, disruptive behavioral problems and more. We provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

  • New York State license LMHC  with 2 years post licensure experience

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently;

  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
